gooooood morning sunshine! err umm clouds and humidity

well, it's early morning here in raleigh and i'm already thinking about how i'll miss the mountain morning. with the sunrays peeking through the trees, past the screened in porch and onto my face as i drink my coffee, the feeling of the brisk, clean air as i take the dogs out, and our own little piece of the world on the side of the valley. the humidity here sits on you and weighs you down, and the ceiling fan just swirls the damp air around the room. nonetheless, jobs here are better, and we're house hunting today.

on the schedule for viewing are:
a townhouse in north raleigh
a duplex in cary
a house in carrboro
a house by jordan lake
a house in hillsborough
and a condo near state

we have covered every housing style with the exception of mansion and apartment, neither of which we aim to live in, so that's good! i guess there is one style we'd still like... the one that we would own instead of rent, but i'll just have to be a little more patient and take one thing on at a time, i guess.

perhaps later i will post our opinions on each location and a picture... or maybe ANDREW will!! or maybe no one will hahahaha.

tonight is byron's birthday, so we're heading for a night on the town with good friends - hope to see you there - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY BYRON!

**alright, at 6:30 here's the status/reactions on the locations:
n.raleigh townhouse - awesome, if only it had a yard... and was a little cheaper

cary duplex - thank you, no. scary place and the "fenced yard" was more like "one line of fencing and a lot of scariness"

house in carrboro - similar to above reaction, only the "fenced yard" was more like "10x12 fenced gravel" and too expensive

house by jordan lake - already rented
house in hillsborough - nice, and i liked it, but andrew thinks it's too far out. also, we didn't get to see inside (they're closed until monday)

condo near state - good price, perhaps a tad too undergrad, didn't get see inside of this place either
we looked at lots more just by driving by and calling, and i'm pretty exhausted. at this point i think we're leaning towards the townhouse, but i'm not sure either of us are completely convinced we have scoured the area well enough, and we're waiting on a few call-backs.
pics to come later this weekend**
