oh man, was i grouchy!

well, not too much to say today except, man i was grouchy today! andrew woke me up this morning (as he does every morning), and instead of being loving and sweet, i think i growled at him angrily and tossed over to the other side. half an hour later, i actually got up and grumpily put the kettle on for tea. after getting dressed and making my tea, andrew came out and said that he could have made my tea (like he usually does) if he'd known i wanted it. i shrugged him off and frowned my way out the door - i really felt bad about this, but i was so grumpy it didn't make much of a difference!

i drove to work and frowned at the demon printer, which actually worked without jamming for the first time ever! i went to my room and got everything together in time for class, but when the kids came in i got incredibly irritated with everything they did. i still can't figure out whether they were actually extremely poorly behaved or whether i was just grouchy, but i hope it never happens again. homeroom was yucky and second period was hell. fortunately, after second period i have planning for a little, and andrew brought me lunch. i was still pretty frowny, but i loved having him come visit me, and it really brightened my outlook.

at lunch i micromanaged the microwave, so no one set the room on fire, fifth period behaved relatively well, sixth was good as usual, and seventh was a silent work day, so my attitude began looking up. i went out at the end of the day and had carpool duty, and apparently my attitude was pretty funny to paige, because she commented on how feisty i am on cold medicine. after that i endured a ridiculous "meeting" (aka social event planning time) and drove home. from there it was all better.

i came in and cleaned, i showered away my negativity, i folded and put away clothes, i actually got rid of some old socks, bras, and underwear, and i relaxed/messed around on the computer/watched tv before making dinner (which was really gross, by the way). now i'm all set to do some more lesson planning and maybe grading before andrew gets home and we go to bed.

thanks for tuning in!

I hate those days. You don't know why, but some days things just set you off.
